Le Marche boasts the highest density of museums and art galleries in Italy. The region's unique
mixture of nature and historic influences, is reflected in the rich religious and cultural sites:
Towns, Piazzas, important Churches and Abbeys (such as the Basilica of Loreto), as well as
restored Theatres and Art Galleries.
Italian cuisine is at its best, ranging from a vast variety of fresh sea food and fish, to meat,
poultry and cheese delicacies. Although mostly unknown outside the region, local wines are excellent.
Produced at around 20,000 Hectares of vineyards spread in 13 DOCS, the wines offer a surprise with
every taste.
